A fully 3D printed carry-on suitcase inspired by Apple’s now discontinued Mac Pro design.
The project takes the recognizable perforated aluminum pattern of the Mac Pro and reimagines it as the outer shell of a functional travel case. Instead of simply referencing the computer visually, the design uses the pattern as part of the suitcase’s identity, turning a tech object into something built for movement.

The suitcase was modeled, printed, assembled, and tested as a real carry-on piece. Its form combines hard-shell luggage proportions with the industrial look of Apple’s professional desktop products. The project explores how 3D printing can be used beyond small objects, pushing the process into a larger and more ambitious product scale.
